Your body heat and ambient temperature makes the water inside the vest slowly evaporate. This causes the surface of your skin to cool down before you get sweaty. Depending on the temperature and humidity, a filling of 600 ml will last for up to 3 days.
This new version is excellent to use with a backpack as the filler cap has been developed and now has a waterproof zipper.
