Maxima's SXS Gear is a mineral-based gear oil specifically formulated for hypoid-type differentials found in modern side-by-side (SXS) vehicles. Exceeding API GL-5 specifications, SXS Gear's robust and shear-stable formulation can also be used in side-by-side transmissions and gear cases requiring SAE 90wt gear oil. Maxima's proprietary shape combines the finest mineral base stocks with industry-leading extreme pressure and anti-wear additives to provide hardware protection and smooth shifting.
